Monthly Competition and Events Information.

All entries are to be brought to the first meeting of the month. To protect your entries, please place them in a bag with a list of all entries on a slip inside the bag.
Categries include:
Class A - Color Prints
Class A - Color Slides
Black and White Prints
Digitally Enhanced or Manipulated Prints
Each paid member is allowed to enter up to 4 entries per category for each competition. All prints must be at least 70 square inches, not to exceed 16" X 20" including the matte. All prints must be mounted, matting is optional. All prints must be labeled with date, competition subject, category, title of photo, and
membership no. You can download the score sheet here to attach to the back of the photo Judges will be professional photographers from the Minot area. Entries will be judged on a point system, with a total of 15 points max. per photo.
Composition 0-5 pts.
Interest 0-5 pts.
Technique 0-5 pts.
The top 6 photos in each category will be recognized as follows:
1 - first place, 1 - second place, 1 - third place, and up to 3 - honorable mentions. If eight or fewer entries are in one category, it is left to the discretion of the judge as to whether he or she wishes to present 6 awards.
